| 21-22 August 2010 | Renaissance Festival Performance Weekend: A Highland Fling! Come dance with us at the Renaissance Festival! The RSCDS Twin Cities Branch will be performing four times each day at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee. Members of the audience are invited to dance with us at the end of each show. | 30 August 2010 | Branch Picnic/BBQ and Open Board Meeting Join us for a picnic/BBQ along the banks of the Mississippi River at Becketwood (43rd Street and West River Road) in South Minneapolis. We will be ouside the chapel (in the chapel basement in case of rain). Bring your own beverage and a dish to share starting at 6pm. Stay for the open board meeting starting at 7:15pm. Your input on plans for Bring a Friend Night and the start of the dancing year, as well as more feedback on the development of a vision and goals which we started at the AGM last May would be appreciated. |

| 20 September 2010 | Bring A Friend Night Did you know that September 17-25 is Dance Scottish Week? Scottish country dancing is a great way to enjoy Scottish music, meet people, get some exercise, and have fun. Why not give it a try? Join us for our annual kick-off event. No dance prior dance experience is necessary, as there's no need to come with a partner (though we encourage you to bring a friend along to share the fun), and it's FREE. Please wear soft-soled shoes. 7:30pm at Tapestry Folkdance Center in south Minneapolis. Branch members, please bring a treat to share. |

| 27 September 2010 | Monday Night Classes Begin Our weekly classes resume on Monday, September 27th and continue through early May. Classes are open to all levels, from brand new to experienced and are free for members of the RSCDS Twin Cities Branch. Newcomers are also offered six weeks of complimentary classes. | 30 Sept - 3 Oct 2010 | Big Island Rendezvous The RSCDS Twin Cities Branch will once again be appearing at the Big Island Rendezvous in Albert Lea, teaching SCD to school kids during the education days and performing for the public over the weekend.
