    Let's get a good "first footing" on the year by doing some dancing on New Year's Day! To celebrate the start of our semi-centennial year as an RSCDS Branch, we'll have an informal social dance (with recorded music) and a tea break featuring some traditional Scottish new year treats.

    Madison Scottish Country Dancers are hosting a Winter Dance Party with live music by Lochanside ( Dave Mullen and Andrew Seevers) and a potluck dinner following the dance at Barb Samdahl's home on the east side.

    Whether you're curious about Scottish country dancing or if you're a lapsed SCDer looking for a review, this 4-week session (Monday nights, Jan 27 - Feb 17) will give you an overview of the basic elements. The full course costs just $20 ($15 for Tapestry Folkdance Center members). No need to be Scottish or to bring a partner! Be sure to invite your friends!
